Lisa Mehling is an Emmy-award winning Producer and Owner of independent production company Chelsea Pictures with production offices in New York, Los Angeles and London.

Under Lisa’s leadership, Chelsea has cultivated an enduring culture predicated on director management and creative excellence working with filmmakers who are leaders in advertising, digital, film, television and photography. Lisa’s love for and commitment to the art and business of filmmaking is reflected in Chelsea’s critical and commercial success, including the 2020/2021 Cannes Lions Palm d’Or, AICP MoMA Show Most Awarded, One Show Most Awarded, and YDA Producer of the Year.

Lisa and the Chelsea team are regarded for their commitment to emerging talent and are proud to have launched commercial careers of several of the industries most revered directors. Unique in her status as one of the only women owned production companies, Lisa relishes her platform to help make our industry more inclusive and equitable as well as to leverage her impact to get behind some of the most urgent issues of our time.

In addition to her Brand credits, Lisa served as Executive Producer on Amazon Studio’s Sundance hits The Queen of Versailles and The Kingmaker. Chelsea’s credits also include Oscar nominated short film Killing Joe, Sundance Grand Jury Prize nominated Unmade Beds and Kids & Money for HBO.

Lisa was elected as Chairperson of the Association of Independent Commercial Producers (AICP) and was named one of Creativepool’s Top 25 Most Inspiring Company Presidents of the Year. Lisa servers on the Advisory Board of Green the Bid, is a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, the Sundance Institute and the International Documentary Association.

Raised in Southern California, Lisa and her family have long called New York City home.
