Dustin leads the day-to-day management of Tool, a creative production partner working with the world’s most recognized brands, ad agencies and entertainment studios across content, experience and creative technology executions. Our mission is to help clients concept and produce creative marketing that achieves earned attention.
Dustin’s focus is on guiding Tool’s strategic growth in developing an evolved creative production model. This includes leveraging communication strategy to take a PR incubated approach to production. Dustin is responsible for founding the Experience group at Tool , consisting of Experiential & Creative Technology. In addition, working with MD, Nancy Hacohen, to identify world-class director talent to represent at Tool; matching them with agencies and brands to develop content that gains attention and delivers on a business purpose.
His projects have been recognized with numerous awards, including at the Emmy’s (2x), Cannes Lions (Palme d’Or 2016 Winner), The Webby Awards, AICP Next, Clio Awards, One Show, SXSW, Ciclope, FWA, Awwwards, MTV VMAs, AICP, OMMA and Davey Awards. Dustin maintains an active presence in the interactive advertising and marketing industry, serving as a judge for the Webby’s, Effie, Drum, Adweek and AICP Next Awards.
He has spoken at conferences such as the AICP Conference, SXSW Interactive Conference, Collision, Ciclope, TV of Tomorrow, F5 Fest, Cannes Advertising Festival, NAB Conference, Seattle Interactive Conference, DMEXCO and Digital Hollywood. He also holds membership in the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences. Callif is currently on the Loyola Marymount University’s M-School Board of Advisors and the Forbes Agency Council.
