ANDY GENT

Originally from Derbyshire, Andy moved to London in 1991 to study Illustration and Graphic Design at Kingston University there he discovered his love for animation and in particular for Stop Motion. Since 1994 he has designed and built hundreds of TV Commercials and over the last few years as head of department on several Feature films he has designed and constructed some of the most memorable characters, props and sets in contemporary animated films, Including The House Netflix, Wes Anderson’s The French Dispatch, Ari Foleman’s The Diary of Anne Frank, Wes Anderson’s Isle of dogs, The Grand Hotel Budapest, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Tim Burton’s Miss Peregrines School for Peculiars, , FrankenweenieThe Corpse Bride, Henry Selick’s Coraline and Frédéric and Samuel Guillaume’s Max and Co.

Andy presently runs his own Puppet Fabrication and design Studio, Arch Model and Arch Film Studios in East London UK.
