Alexander Kalchev is the Chief Creative Officer of DDB Paris, where he oversees a variety of brands such as Volkswagen, Hennessy, Ubisoft, Uber, TAG Heuer, Amnesty International
among others.

In 2011 Alexander was profiled in Creativity’s “Creatives to Know” and in 2014 he was chosen as one of the ADC New York’s Young Guns 12 class. At just 29, he became the youngest Executive Creative Director in the history of the agency.

Since taking over the creative leadership of DDB Paris, the agency has been named twice in a row agency of the Year at the French ADC with Alexander becoming the only foreigner to win twice in a row Creative Director of the Year.

Alexander and his teams have won over 40 Cannes Lions, multiple Eurobest Grand Prix, D&AD Yellow Pencils, One Show Golds and trinkets from all other major advertising festivals. “The Centaur” for Honda – the first film he directed himself – was awarded a silver film lion in Cannes.

Alexander has sat multiple times on all major international juries, including the Cannes Lions and D&AD Film Juries. He respects good, honest work that speaks for itself.
