Any production and post production companies, creative studios, advertising agencies, brands, and independent creators may enter their work.

All entries must be made via the CICLOPE Awards platform. This will be available once the call for entries opens on 13 April 2026.

Some categories require mandatory supporting material. Please read your selected category entry requirements to complete your submission.

The suggested video formats are MPEG4, MPEG2 or MOV files, with a maximum file size of 1GB. The recommended compression rate is 15-20 Mbits.

Please do not include any special characters (& / * / “ ”) in the name of the file.

All entries in the Craft and Ideas sections must remain anonymous. All credits and logos should be removed before submitting an entry – client logos may remain.

Entries should not exceed a duration of 20 minutes.

Please note that once you have completed your submission, entry fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

CICLOPE’s judging process consists of two rounds. The first is undertaken by the Grand and Executive Juries, who watch and rank all entries via CICLOPE’s online platform. The highest-ranked entries in each category are considered Finalists, and will form the official Shortlist.

In the second round of judging, the Executive Jury gather in Berlin to discuss the nominees in person, and award Gold, Silver and Bronze trophies in each category. The Jury reserves the right not to award in any category, if the quality of the submitted work does not meet a minimum standard. The panel may also choose to award a Grand Prix to the most outstanding work per section.

The official Shortlist announcing all 2026 Finalists will be published on 24 September. Winners will be announced live in Berlin at the Awards Ceremony on 8 October, closing night of CICLOPE Festival 2026.

The below points system is used to determine the year’s Special Award-winners:

– 25 Points for a Grand Prix
– 15 points for a Gold award
– 7 points for a Silver award
– 3 points for a Bronze award
– 1 point for a finalist position

Please note: scores are calculated based on information provided by the entrant companies; it is their duty to ensure the correct companies and individuals are appropriately credited.

During the live CICLOPE Awards ceremony in Berlin, Grand Prix and Gold winners will be invited on stage to receive their trophies. Awards will be sent out to anyone unable to attend in the weeks following the Festival.
