Tomás Ostiglia is the Executive Creative Director of LOLA MullenLowe Madrid, one of the top 10 European agencies of the decade according to Cannes Lions. He was also named on Cannes Lions report as the 3rd Best Creative Director in the World in 2018. And he’s held up that standard being named as the Best Creative Director in Spain, according to The One Show in 2024, the same year he won the Grand Prix at Cannes Lions, in the OOH category, the first GP win by a Spanish agency in history in this category.
With over 20 years of experience, Tomás is a creative known for crafting bold, effective and award-winning campaigns that build and rebuild brands.
Beginning his career as a copywriter at Ogilvy Buenos Aires, Tomás later moved to Spain to join FCB, where he advanced from late-night copywriter to the role of Executive Creative Director, He subsequently serves as the General Creative Director at Arnold. In 2008, he returned to Argentina as the Chief Creative Officer at TBWA, before coming back to Spain to join LOLA MullenLowe in 2014.
Crazy ambition makes serious things happen. Over the past 11 years at LOLA, Tomás has applied his agency’s motto, producing evocative, bold work that makes a difference. From introducing diversity with Magnum’s Be True To Your Pleasure, to fighting the prejudice with Wash Away the Taboo for Persil, he’s stuck to his word: championing ideas and positioning brands forward: Magnum Ice Cream, for example, has recently become a billion euro brand.
During his time at LOLA, he played a crucial role in the agency securing a place among the world’s Top 10 at Cannes Lions. He’s been a member of the Cannes Lions, Eurobest, LIA, El Ojo, and El Sol’s Jury, and hopes to participate in many more. Tomás is also a member of the MullenLowe Group Global Creative Council. Surrounding himself with brilliant ideas and creative individuals is where his home is.
