Nikolaj Belzer is the CEO & Founder of OkayStudio, an acclaimed independent post-production house with facilities in the heart of London and Berlin. With a career spanning over two decades, the German native has become a key figure in the creative industry and is renowned for discovering and nurturing talent.

Nikolaj’s academic journey took him through the diverse cultural landscapes of Germany, USA and France, studying International Management & Finance at ESCP Paris followed by an M.A. in Philosophy in Berlin. His passion for cinema led him to the London Film School next. After completing an M.A. in Filmmaking, Nikolaj quickly established himself as an editor, perfecting his craft and building recognition in the industry.

In 2018, Nikolaj co-founded OkayStudio with his long-term production partner Henry Lloyd-Baker, establishing one of the first artist-led post houses based outside of Soho. OkayStudio represents creatives across editing, color grading, and visual effects. Under his leadership, OkayStudio has achieved international recognition and numerous awards, reflecting the studio’s commitment to excellence and innovation. As the CEO he keeps driving OkayStudio’s talent and offering into the future, growing its global footprint, across Europe and North America.

Fluent in German, English, and French, Nikolaj has a gift for storytelling that goes beyond borders. Outside of his professional achievements, he continues to explore new creative ventures, dividing his time between his hometown London and Europe, with a focus on international projects.

His visionary approach ensures that OkayStudio remains at the forefront of post-production, continually pushing the boundaries of craft, innovation and technology.
