Matt Posey is an editor at PS260 based in Los Angeles. He got his start in the art world, creating video installations for other artists, as well as exhibiting his artwork across the USA and internationally. This love of experimentation and abstract storytelling pulled him towards music videos, where he cut videos for Run the Jewels, Big Sean, Squarepusher, Julien Baker, and the innovative VR campaign for Depeche Mode’s 2017 Spirit world tour, which comprised multiple VR music videos and on-stage live visuals. Matt recently edited all live-action music videos for the entirety of Metallica’s 72 Seasons album as well as their song Lux Æterna, which was nominated for an MTV VMA.
In addition to narrative feature and documentary work, Matt has edited for brands and institutions including Apple, Nike, A24, Gucci, New Balance, M&M’s, YouTube, Audible, Google, The Smithsonian, and more. His work has garnered accolades at Webby’s, The One Show, D&AD, AICP, and The Clios, among others.
