Marcelo Vergara started working 16 years ago as Executive Creative Director in the Argentinean agency, Agulla & Baccetti, working for important clients such as Arcor, Molinos Rio de la Plata, Coca-Cola, Renault, Telecom, Repsol and YPF.
He lated moved to Spain to work for BBDO, managing the whole agency, working for clients such as Pepsi, Renault, ING Direct, Telefónica, Lays (Pepsico Foods). After 4 years managing this agency, he founded Publicis Lado C, as Partner and Executive Creative Director working for Renault Worldwide and Beam Global.
Until 2011, Marcelo led Publicis Spain, working for all the net’s clients: Renault, Garnier, Grupo Mahou (beer brewery), Carrefour, Telefonica, MoviStar. Then, he moved to Latin America to lead creative for the region (excl. Brazil) as Chief Creative Officer of Publicis Latin America.
He moved to France in June 2014 to join Publicis Conseil as Renault’s Global Creative Director.
In 16 years, Marcelo has been awarded in all the existing advertising festivals like Cannes Lions, the One Show, D&AD, Andy Awards, and Clio. He has participated as jury in the majority of the most important festivals in the world.
Marcelo won the first Grand Prix in the Cannes Film Festival for Publicis France and for Renault. And another 3 Grand Prix in Cannes Lions in the last 3 years.
