Kari Sharff is a seasoned Executive Music Producer based in Minneapolis, MN, with over a decade of experience in the advertising industry. She recently joined the esteemed music company Asche & Spencer as Executive Producer, where she plays a key leadership role. Kari has collaborated with top agencies and major brands, helping them tell their stories with the emotional power of music. Her professional purpose is promoting hand-made music and celebrating multi-instrumentalists, talented session musicians, and vocalists.
In addition to her agency work, Kari curated music for NPR’s flagship show, This American Life, from 2015 to 2021. She is also an accomplished photographer and creative writer. Outside of her professional pursuits, Kari enjoys gardening, foraging, and spending time with her family, including her husband, their two teenage sons, and two rescue dogs. Her (imaginary) autobiography is titled The Generalist’s Guide to Being Just Okay at Many Things.
