Josh Rabinowitz is an acknowledged global thought leader in that space where music, media, and creative content intersect. During his 25+ year career he has produced over 10,000 tracks for brands, cinema, social media, major recording labels and TV.

Rabinowitz has been called a “New Music Mogul” by Fast Company, “The Voice” of the music branding space in the press, and a “Branding Power Player” by Billboard where he was also a celebrity guest columnist penning the by-weekly With the Brand.

He was the Inaugural Music Jury President at Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, where he presented the Grey Music Seminar with such iconic artists as Lou ReedIggy PopTony BennettPatti SmithDebbie Harry, and Yoko Ono, to name a few.

Currently he leads the music consultancy the Brooklyn Music Experience, offering access and insight to brands, advertising agencies, music startups and other creative content concerns. He led Grey Advertising’s Music Team for 14 years, and previously worked at Y&R NY for 7.5 years.

He’s been a Professor at The New School in NYC since 2008, teaching two popular courses: Music in the Media and Music Curation and Supervision in Media. He has also taught similar courses at NYU SteinhardtBrooklyn College, and at Drexel and Tufts Universities
