Anand Menon was born in 1969 and lived most of his early life in a small town in the southern Indian state of Kerala, a region famed for its natural beauty. Despite graduation in 1995 from one of India’s top business schools, he ended up on the wrong side of the PPM table. Over the past twenty seven years, he has served as EP for numerous iconic Indian commercials at Footcandles Film (1997 – 2013) and Early Man Film (2013 till date). Early Man Film, founded in 2013 along with the director – Ayappa, is India’s most awarded production company, with wins at festivals like Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show, Clio, NY Festivals, LIAA, Spikes Asia, Adfest, Dubai Lynx and numerous Indian and regional festivals. When he’s not working on shoots for commercials, documentaries or short films, he can be found burrowed in a history book, cooking and crate digging for obscure music from around the world.
