NICO PEREZ VEIGA

During his career, Nicolás won almost every award in the advertising industry. These awards include: 15 Cannes Lions, 6 Clios, 4 LIAs,  and 2 D&AD pencils for best direction.

In 2019, 2020 and 2021, the Argentinian Creatives’ Circle named him “Director of the Year.” He was also named Ibero-American director of the year in 2009, 2010, 2012, 2017, and 2020.

In 2016, he directed his first series titled “OUT THERE” which he also created, produced and wrote. The show was nominated for “Best Short Form Drama Series” at the International EMMY Awards 2017. It was produced by ICONOCLAST,  CANAL+ and PRIMO.

In 2013 the Gunn Report named PRIMO the 4th “Most Awarded Production Company in the World” and Nicolás obtained 3rd place in the category “Most Awarded Director.” That same year, he was part of the Film Craft jury in Cannes Festival.

In 2021 he directed, executive produced and wrote the series “RINGO” for Disney+ which tells the life story of 1960’s Argentinian heavy-weight boxer, Oscar ‘Ringo’ Bonavena. The show will premiere in 2023.

Nicolás is represented by PRIMO in South America and Spain, and by ICONOCLAST in the rest of the world.
