Lope Serrano is a filmmaker and creative director at CANADA. He has been directing commercials, short films and music videos under the collective name of CANADA (in association with his partner Nicolás Méndez). He’s also a partner and co-founder of the production company of the same name. Highlights in his career are “Crème Caramel”, a fashion film which cemented CANADA as filmmakers capable of leaving a mark on culture; “Sound and Vision”, a homage to David Bowie commissioned for the late pop icon’s exhibition; and “Il est cinq heures, Paris s’eveille’, a short film for Longchamp starring Mathilde Olivier and Amber Anderson. Lope has also made his name by directing iconic music videos, including “The Less I Know The Better” for Tame Impala, which won the Jury Award at SXSW, and Ciclope Berlin. His collaborations with Dua Lipa, “Physical” won awards at Creative Circle, D&AD, Berlin Commercial, and MTV VMAm and “Love Again”, Best Pop Video winner at the UKMVAs. His internationally renowned style has attracted clients such as H&M, Coca-Cola, Instagram, Unilever, Easyjet, Budweiser, Louis Vuitton, Renault and Miu Miu, among many others.
