Buenos Aires

The Autonomous City of Buenos Aires is without a doubt one of the most Cosmopolitan metropolis of the current times. Its financial centre, its architecture, and the fashion districts grant it a contemporary atmosphere in perpetual movement and are some of the features that shape the city scene. The huge capital is world known for its broad cultural and recreational offer stirring its neighborhoods 365 days a year, day and night: the Colon Theatre along with small experimental theatres (specially located on Corrientes Avenue but which keep on spreading throughout the city), antique book stores and new cultural centers; more than 100 museums and art galleries; great arts & crafts fairs and modern shopping centers; historical cafes; complexes to enjoy Tango played live and Milongas (Tango ball rooms); discos and pubs with a broad international music offer; restaurants of all styles, casinos and the most passionate football matches find their place in this huge town. You can travel the city neighborhoods on foot, from the most traditional ones like San Telmo, La Boca, Congreso or Abasto, to the most classic ones like Barrio Norte, Recoleta or Belgrano, going through the most modern ones like Puerto Madero or Palermo, cradle of vanguard design. There is also the option of engaging in theme tours following the steps of emblematic Argentine Tango or cultural figures like Gardel, Evita or Borges. For those who enjoy sailing, another option are the boat rides on the Rio de la Plata and for the less structured individuals, the city streets are always an invitation to get lost guiding oneself by the mere curiosity of discovering the endless array of attractions that make this great town glitter.
